VEGETABLE BASED FATTY ACID LUBRICANT

1] Description:  

Tristar® 149 is a fine white powder, composed of 90% palmitic and stearic acid. Vegetable based, food grade and Kosher certified. Contains no metal residues.  

2] Applications:

Wet and dry granulation, direct compression

lubricant 

Good for chewable tablets, makes hard shiny tablets without impeding dissolution. Less sensitive to overblending than the metal stearates. Not reactive with acids.
