Polyvinyl Acetate Phthalate(PVAP)-based Coatings

1] Description:  Polymer for enteric coating.

 

Sureteric®, powder is a specially blended combination of PVAP, plasticizers and other ingredients for reconstitution with water to make a totally aqueous coating formulation. In addition to water, one should use an antifoam emulsion.

2] Applications: 

Enteric Coating Sureteric®, appropriate for acid or alkaline substrates. Meets USP dissolution for pH 6.8

Use at a level of 15% solids in suspension.

Enteric protection may be achieved with as little as 5% weight gain. GEnerally range is 8 to 10 %
